Cambridge Farm to School had big plans to bring back the Cambridge Fall Festival this year with many past favorites as well as exciting new events, but due to Covid-19, plans have been postponed.
When it is once again clear that we can provide a safe community event for everyone, regardless of age or health concern, our plan is to bring everyone together in fall of 2021 with a big bunch of family fun!
Start the morning off with a healthy 5 mile run/walk through our beautiful Camrock park - from restored prairies to oak forests and all along the meandering Koshkonong Creek. Participants will receive a t-shirt and a ticket to redeem a beer or soda.
Make a mean pot of Chili? Win a hand-carved wooden spoon and the bragging rights for the Best Chili this village has ever tasted. You have this winter to perfect that recipe so you can enter it in the Chili Cook-off. Categories to be announced later...
Feeling creative? There will be an Arts Tent focused on Reuse Arts where you can help create a piece for a community art installation. Other projects will be available to make and take home.
For all the kiddos we are bringing back past fall favorites like hayrides, scarecrow building, face painting, and FFA animals. Pumpkins grown at the Farm to School plot at the SLC will be provided for painting some spooky Halloween fun.
We will end the evening with some amazing live bands featuring local musicians and bands from Madison. There will be beer/wine sales available all day for those old enough to enjoy alcohol.
There will be lots to partake in and it will be a lot of fun! If you are interested in being a part of the F2S fall fest fundraiser 2021 please contact email@example.com
