GREEN TEAM
Because of the Green Team and their hardwork and stewardship CES:
- Compost tens of pounds of organic food waste each day! which means it’s NOT GOING TO A LANDFILL
- Creating rich soil to use in the Blue Jay Garden
- Creating community and an awareness of food waste
Cambridge Farm to School is THRILLED to bring a NEW Flex Farms Hydroponic System to CES this last fall! Green Team helped start seeds, maintain, and harvest the vegetables grown in the system this school year. The food harvested will be used in the CES school lunches. We have big plans for the hydroponic program and can’t wait to grow it!
